This project holds a special place in my heart, as it was created in honor of an organization in Macedonia dedicated to raising awareness about rare diseases. Inspired by the courageous journey of a mother and her son battling Alport Syndrome, I wanted to visually represent the powerful bond they share. The design captures their love and resilience, depicting the emotional and physical fight they endure together. In the end, they emerge as heroes, their strength and perseverance symbolizing hope for all families facing similar challenges.
This shirt design features the powerful message: Rare is many. Rare is strong. Rare is proud. It symbolizes the resilience, pride, and unity of those living with rare diseases. Every time you wear it, you help raise awareness and show support for the rare disease community.
I created these two posters for Rare Disease Day to support our community in Ohrid and raise awareness about rare diseases. By incorporating the Samoil Fortress, I aimed to make the posters more unique and reflective of our local heritage. The fortress symbolizes strength and resilience, mirroring the fight faced by those living with rare conditions. Through these designs, I hope to inspire unity and encourage support within our community for those affected by rare diseases.
